A Perfect Match

The fine hard working folks at Timeless Skin Care thought Mr. Skipah might want to look a little younger and offered me a chance to review their amazing products.  Since I didn’t want to face certain man card revocation, I instead turned to Miss Madison for help in this department.  The floor is now yours Miss Madison.

Skipah was contacted a few months ago by a company called Timeless Skin Care to try out and review their line of skincare products. Naturally, he passed the opportunity on to me, because we all know that women are the true experts in this field. I was excited to check out the company’s website and find out what they offered, and I was even happier when I saw that they pride themselves on making products that are all natural, paraben free, and cruelty free. I constantly drive Skipah crazy with my obsession with natural products and food, and my hatred of added chemicals, fragrances, and dyes. The skin is our biggest organ, so it makes sense to use natural, quality ingredients to take care of it, right?

The first product I tried was the Hyaluronic Acid serum from the Pure line. It comes in an adorable little glass bottle with a dropper and a simple label that looks great right on the bathroom counter. You are supposed to apply 2-3 drops to your clean face morning and night. According to their website, hyaluronic acid is one of the most hydrating and moisturizing ingredients on the market and can hold 1000 times its weight in water! I used the serum for about a month and definitely noticed its moisturizing ability. I have acne-prone, oily skin (even in my 30’s, who knew that acne wasn’t just a problem in our teenage years!), and this product moisturized without causing breakouts, which is super important to me.

I was very happy with the first product, so I was understandably eager to try another product for the next month. I tried a serum called Matrixyl S6, which also contained the moisturizing Hyaluronic Acid I’d already been using. In addition, this serum contains Matrixyl Synthe’6, which is a powerful peptide that boosts six skin-rebuilding essentials. It is an anti-wrinkle complex that helps reverse the signs of aging. Any woman in her 30s or beyond should seriously consider using this product, because we’re not getting any younger, but at least we can do something about it!  After using the Matrixyl S6 serum for a few weeks, I was in love! (Sorry, Skipah!) It made my skin feel smooth and look great, and also did not cause breakouts—a win win.

I was very happy with the Timeless Skincare line, and I highly recommend that you try it out for yourself.  The other added bonus about these products is their affordability! Products marketed as anti-aging at a makeup counter in a department store cost infinitely more than these all-natural serums. At these prices, there is no excuse for us to not be taking care of our skin. I’m excited to explore what else they have to offer at Timeless Skincare as I continue my quest for the fountain of youth!

Skipah’s Realm was compensated with free products from Timeless Skin Care.  The thoughts and opinions are all mine, or make that Miss Madison’s.

  1. I’m calling the Prime Minister right now!

  2. I was pretty proud of her also, the Terri beauty and fashion stumble page!!!! That might as well be the front page of the New York Times right?

  3. Nice review, Miss Madison. Unfortunately, these products are not available in India.

  4. Miss Madison! You should just have your own blog! Sorry Gary…she wrote it well and was descriptive! You would make a great blogging team! I am proud to say that I stumbled this to my beauty and fashion page (something that would never happen with a regular old post from Skipah), LOL!

  5. I didn’t think you could draw lines.

  6. Is my tribe revolting against me? We don’t speak in these derogatory terms, Diet Dr. Pepper is holy water around here! She was natural wasn’t she, she was worried it wouldn’t be “in my style” I read it and didn’t fix one thing.

  7. Nope that’s not happening. I’ve drawn the line at skin care products and speedos!

  8. Very kind of you to “let” Miss Madison take this one, Gary! And to you, Miss Madison, excellent review! What we put on our skin is more important than most realize, it’s our biggest organ, so I enjoy finding products that safe. Hope to so see you on here again soon, and get Skipah off the Diet Dr. Pepper!

  9. Nice to meet you Miss Madison…that said I would also like to hear Skipah’s review…

  10. She loved it and she allergic to everything but air

  11. May have to give it a try on her recommendations. Am allergic to everything except poison ivy and latex products used in medical settings!
Hope she is right, I’m not getting any younger, either. My skin has been exposed to the world for over 41 long harsh years.

  12. She’s got some ideas bouncing around in her head. Her time is limited right now until school is out, but look out this summer potentially.

  13. How wonderful - is Miss Madison going to become a regular contributor now?

  14. LOL, I did get an eye roll for that one :).

  15. Miss Madison really liked it.

  16. I’m with you on that one Joey!

  17. Good Job to Miss Madison. Although I can’t believe she let you get away with the 39 and overweight line! lol We’ve seen the pics, she’s not either! lol

  18. Always good to know about natural products on the market! Thanks

  19. I wish I could explore various skin care products, but I have Rosacea, so it’s only soap and water and aloe for me.

  20. Love Miss Madison’s review!! Although I have to say that I think man card revokation may have been worth the sacrifice to have you updating us on the state of your skin each day.

  21. I learn daily to not doubt Miss Madison :).

  22. I swear you and I are cut from the same cloth because I had that joke running around in my head but couldn’t put enough together to make it a post and Miss Madison took to this stuff like a fish into water so I told her “To roll with it”

  23. I was a little … concerned … about how Skipah would take to this, but I can see that Miss Madison had a great experience and has now introduced us to a brand that I have not known of before. So thanks!

  24. Sounds like a good product. I like hyaluronic acid products - always good to see one that is simple and affordable.

I think you missed a few opportunities for fun by wanting to hold onto your man points here, however, Skipah! You know the before and after pictures, where you put a picture of yourself as a baby and claim the anti ageing serum was too strong. That sort of thing.

  25. She was pretty happy with it and I got to keep my dignity :).

  26. I’ll be sure to pass the memo to her, thanks to her she has me reading labels on everything I buy at the store LOL.

  27. nothing like a freebie and not having your man card revoked in the process - it sounds like a great product.

  28. I like Miss Madison’s approach - I too am rather particular as to what products I use and what food I eat. This does sound interesting - I shall definitely look into it.

  29. It will make you look younger, trust me! Miss Madison went from 39 and overweight to 34 and svelte over night!

  30. Cool! Thanks for sharing! Gonna check it out!

Tell Skipah all about it!
