Taking Digital Photography to the Next Level!

The good hard working folks at Photography.com recently heard about Skipah’s foray into the travel/photo blogging world and how the walls of my hacienda were a barren wasteland of white paint and few misplaced screw holes (where is a stud finder when you need one) from hanging adventures gone wrong.  So they reached out to yours truly to help make my empty home a happy home, and let me tell you they definitely put the AWE in awesome!

Photography.com will take any digital picture you have and customize it into beautiful wall art!  Did you catch that perfect shot of your husband gunning for that first place ribbon at the county fair rib eating contest?  You might want to try out Photography.com and get that made into an acrylic print so you can have a “conversation” piece anytime company comes over.  Is your wife or girlfriend a rock star school teacher?  Photography.com has just the design for you!  Select the chalkboard feature for your own personal Picasso and you can have your favorite educator framed in the environment she is best known for!

Just picture your precious husband in all his bbq glory in acrylic!

Apples are so 1950s, give your favorite teacher some love with a chalkboard style portrait!

The possibilities are endless.  Make any digital photo you are proud of into wall art of the highest level with Photography.com.  They offer to turn your prized photo into a framed or regular canvas portrait (six different styles of canvas), acrylic, metal, bamboo, planked wood, glass, chalkboard, and if you want to get real fancy they even offer to put your picture on a clock!  Don’t believe me click on their website and see for yourself!

I see a picture of Sloane soon in this format!

P.S.A. from Skipah…Glass is very breakable!  Thank you read on!

Hopefully you don’t have a pet panda bear then this would be a poor option

Always have a love one handy to look at and if they are out past curfew!

I didn’t want to be to greedy when Tyler at Photography.com sought me out so I went with a basic canvas from my recent trip to Door County, Wisconsin.  As mentioned earlier the walls in my apartment would cause a real estate agent to possibly seek therapy or another line of work.  Instead of getting another picture of my rock star daughter framed I went with the Sherwood Point Lighthouse in Idlewild, Wisconsin.  The photo gods were looking out for me that day when I took one last snapshot of this quaint little lighthouse that warns mariners of trouble off of Green Bay.

Original Photo below:

The tip of the lighthouse reflecting in the water sealed the deal!

Original photo after the Photography.com ninjas performed their magic!

True story, I got these two image mixed up while editing this!

This is an 11 x 14 portrait and I can’t find any fault with the product, it is as advertised and I can’t thank the Photography.com people enough for allowing me this opportunity.  Now off to figure out what pictures of Sloane I want in the various different options they have to offer.

One less barren wall to look at!

Better yet click on this link, and tell them the Skipah sent you and with the purchase of one item you get three free with no shipping charges!  For as little as $49.95 (USD) you can get a value of up to almost 250.00!  Pssst…..in case you haven’t been to a retail outlet lately you may or may not know that Christmas is right around the corner!  Bam!  I just found you four gifts for the price of one!  Thank me later I’m off to case my digital photo locker to see what other magic I can have Photography.com create for me!

I was compensated with my own portrait from Photography.com, the thoughts and opinions are 100% mine.

  7. I may just have to dig up pictures of the two cats we adopted in the Chicago-metro area while we lived in that crummy state. We both miss the pair of them deeply! Do I try one of the pictures we caught of them jumping in mid-air after a ball, or one of the two of them up on the 6 foot climbing tower taking a nap together?
